The agreement supports cooperation between both the bodies in scientific, educational, and outreach activities, including organising mutual workshops, seminars, conferences, and training events. The proposed joint activities also include cooperation in international projects, particularly those enhancing the EU approximation of Ukraine. 

The memorandum also aims at encouraging cooperation between other institutions, and civil society organizations dealing with environmental protection, science, communication, education, and public awareness. The document was signed by Director František Pelc on behalf of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic and by President Natalia Isayeva on behalf of the Czech-Ukrainian Scientific Society.
